Friends of Beaumont is run on volunteers and the more people that offer their time, the greater the spread of the workload. Volunteering doesn't have to be a chore. There are lots of ways to help out and they can fit in with the time you have available, for example you could:

• Run a stall at the summer fair

• Have an idea on how we could do something better

• Help wash and sort the Pre-loved Uniform

• Help to get sponsorship 

• Become a year group rep

• Join the committee

Class Reps

Our class reps play a vital role, providing a link between the parents in their year groups and the Committee.  The support from class reps is vital when it comes to organising our main events, from selling tickets to organising rotas of help.  We really could not manage without them! Each class rep helps to set up a  WhatsApp group, for parents to communicate via.

We need one or two class reps for each new school intake, so if you would like to get involved in this role, we would love to hear from you.

AGM

We hold an AGM in the autumn term, where everybody is invited to hear what we have been doing and our plans for the coming year, what funds we have raised and how the money is being spent. It is also when we elect our new committee members and class reps. You are all invited to attend the AGM, which we will be announced on in our news & events section

Why should I get involved?

Studies show that there is a direct link between parental involvement and how well children do at school. Helping can be fun and fit in around your other commitments.
